    - Present pollen and spores (Actuopalynology), their morphology and structure, and aplications to botany and taxonomy.

    - - Pollen Biology, including its development, physiology, structure and function, from cellular, molecular and biochemical points of view, as well as applications in biotechnology, reproductive biology of plant species, and agriculture.

    - Pollen in honey and beehive products (Melissopalynology), with applications in origin certification of honeys and their determinant features.

    - Airborne pollen and spores (Aerobiology), with applications in crop yield predictions, athmospheric alergens and contaminants analyses.
